CET 8.01 Rome, October 12 2021 – Atlantia is glad to announce that Abertis’ Chilean subsidiary, Autopista Central, has reached an important agreement with the Government of Chile.
The agreement refers to a major capex project (in excess of €300m) in Santiago (two one-way tunnels, 1.5 Km each, connecting territories within the metropolitan area of Santiago de Chile, with the aim of reducing traffic and pollution) which will extend Autopista Central concession by 20 months (Link to Abertis press release).
As part of its strategy, Atlantia will continue to support Abertis in its international growth and in its effort to prolong the average duration of its assets and reinforce its commitment to public-private partnerships.
