We promote biodiversity and ecosystem protection by integrating nature protection into infrastructure development and management choices. We integrate biodiversity impact assessments in projects to orient choices toward solutions that reduce pressures on natural habitats and soil consumption.
We apply the mitigation hierarchy - avoid, minimize, restore, and compensate.
Through Neya, a benefit company of the Group, we develop nature-based projects for regeneration of terrestrial and marine ecosystems.
Protecting Water Resources
We aim to optimize water resource use, reducing consumption and preventing pollution, particularly in regions that are more sensitive or subject to water stress. Water is considered not only as an operational resource, but as a common good to preserve for future generations.
Circularity
We adopt responsible resource use practices in managing our infrastructure, from material reuse in construction sites to reduction of virgin resource consumption, supporting a sustainable development model respectful of the environment and the regions where we operate.
