Our Asset Company Yunex Traffic has recently completed a significant project in Zurich, Switzerland, modernizing over 200 traffic signal systems.
This large-scale initiative involved equipping the city's traffic lights with new sX controllers and advanced 40-volt LED technology, enhancing their resilience and reliability while reducing energy consumption. The new controllers are integrated into Zurich's central traffic management system, laying the groundwork for future innovations in traffic management.
This project is a very relevant modernization effort, as the new controllers not only offer greater reliability and efficiency but also provide the technological foundation for future-oriented solutions such as network-adaptive traffic control and connected mobility. This upgrade is seen as a crucial step towards developing an innovative and intelligent traffic system capable of meeting the challenges of a rapidly growing city.
