Andrea Mangoni is Chief Executive Officer of Mundys since 1 May 2023. Born in 1963, after graduating in Economic Sciences from the University of Rome, he began his career working with the Inter-American Development Bank (World Bank Group).
In 1995 he joined Acea - one of the main electricity generational and distribution company in Italy - as Head of Finance, subsequently holding the role of Chief of Strategy and, from 2001 Chief Financial Officer. In 2003 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer.
In 2009 Andrea joined Telecom Italia in the role of Group CFO and Executive Chairman of Telecom Italia Sparkle, the company responsible for the international wholesale business. In 2012 he held the role of Managing Director for International Business and became CEO at Tim Brazil.
From 2013 and 2015, Andrea was CEO of Sorgenia, one import player in the Italian electricity generation market and the biggest distressed asset for the Italian banking system, where he successfully run the financial restructuring and industrial recovery project.
In 2016 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of doValue, the undisputed leader in Southern Europe in the management and restructuring of distressed assets.

Non-executive roles:
From 2009 to 2015 he was a Board of Directors member at Amber Capital.
From 2009 to 2015 he was also Board of Directors member and member of the Investments Committee at Marguerite, the Infrastructure Fund held by the national development banks of Italy, France, Spain and Germany.
