Giancarlo Almiento is Mundys’s Chief Investment Officer since 1 February 2024. Is a director of several Group companies. Born in Lecce, he has a degree in Business Economics from Luigi Bocconi University in Milan.
He previously gained significant experience in M&A, first with Lehman Brothers, then Nomura and later, from 2010, with Bank of America, where he was part of the bank’s Investment Banking Italia team and, more recently, a member of the EMEA Infrastructure Funds Coverage team.
Over his career, he has worked on a number of extraordinary transactions involving the Mundys Group, in addition to M&A transactions in Italy and overseas with a focus on the infrastructure sector.
