Our Asset Company Aeroporti di Roma, the managing company of Rome Fiumicino and Ciampino airports, announces the launch of ÈLEVATE, the new Supplier Development Program in ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance), aimed at promoting the growth and sustainable development of its suppliers and partners. The occasion for the launch of this initiative was the first Supplier & Partner Summit organized by ADR at Fiumicino's Leonardo da Vinci Terminal 5.

The event was attended, among others, by Katia Riva, our Chief Sustainability & Innovation Officer; Marco Frey, President of Global Compact Italia and Chairman of ADR's Sustainability Committee; Andrea Tardiola, General Manager of INAIL; Davide Scotti, Head of HSE Culture, Communication and Training at Saipem; Giulia Ritondale, Head of Sustainability at Open Fiber; and Elena Guarnone, Head of Sustainability at Edison. The morning session, opened by the greetings of Marco Troncone, CEO of ADR, and Gabriele Di Cintio, VP Procurement & Logistics of ADR, was dedicated to an in-depth look at crucial issues for the sector such as sustainability, health and safety in the workplace, macro-economic scenarios and supply chain impacts from a strategic perspective. In the afternoon, the focus shifted to sustainability best-practices and the presentation of Aeroporti di Roma's 2024 Procurement Plan and Supplier Development Program.

The event was characterized as a time for thematic insights, sharing and networking, involving prominent external guests from the industry and sustainability scene. The Supplier & Partner Summit 2024 was an open channel for dialogue and discussion with ADR's entire supply chain as well as an opportunity to strengthen the collaboration between the airport management company and its suppliers by presenting the ÈLEVATE project. A path to support all suppliers, who play a decisive role in the achievement of sustainability goals, aimed at fostering growth in the ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) area of the supply chain's protagonists and offering the possibility of benefiting from a range of services, provided by selected partners, useful to improve the environmental, social and governance impact of the participants. Based on one's maturity in sustainability, defined by the score obtained following the completion of the ESG questionnaire, the program provides two different tracks: the "Development Track" aimed at improving participants' knowledge and skills in the ESG field and the "Innovation Track," aimed at involving the most virtuous ESG participants in the development of innovative projects in partnership with ADR.

A customized program, built on the basis of the needs of individual participants, with which Aeroporti di Roma is committed to making an active contribution to nurture the value chain in the long term and from a sustainable perspective.
