Mundys expands its presence in Chile with award of the Ruta 5 Temuco-Rio Bueno concession

CET 10.33 Rome - March 10, 2025 - Mundys, the leading global infrastructure group, will manage Ruta 5 Temuco – Rio Bueno in Chile through its subsidiary in the country, Grupo Costanera, jointly owned with CPPIB. Grupo Costanera submitted the most competitive bid in the tender process run by the Chilean Ministry of Public Works (MOP). This marks the second successful bid by the Mundys Group in Chile in less than a year, following the award of the Santiago-Los Vilos concession in August 2024 through the Vias Chile platform (established by Abertis). The awarded concession has a useful life of up to 43 years. As a result of this award, the Mundys Group’s Chilean motorway network now exceeds 1,100 km, generating EBITDA of almost €1bn.
