CET 21.45 Rome, 5 January 2022. Atlantia, following some press agency news of today, confirms only its participation in the competitive process, started by Siemens Group, for the award of 100% of capital of Yunex Traffic, a company operating in the Intelligent Transport Systems business, and to have submitted a binding offer. 

The offer fits into Atlantia’s strategy presented to the market on 15 June 2021, and is coherent with the strategic guidelines approved by its BOD, which foresee investments, as well as in the sectors of motorways, airports and mobility digital payments, in which the company already operates, also in three new adjacent and/or synergic areas: Intelligent Transportation Systems, Electrification/Renewables, Rail and Mobility Hubs. 

Atlantia is committed to promptly update the market, in the case Siemens makes it known that Atlantia’s offer has turned out to be the best and has been approved by Siemens’ competent bodies.
